FAQ

Privacy

By default, we store all data locally on your device, so you have full ownership of your personal data, with the ability to export and delete it anytime. As a premium user, you can opt-in to fully encrypted cloud backups, if you wish to have your data saved externally (in the event of wanting to log in on another device, or losing your phone, etc). In any case, nobody can see your data except for you.

We do not use any IDFA or other ad tracking technology, at the expense of our own marketing. We will never sell your data to 3rd parties, as we ourselves are privacy freaks!

Account & Billing

Although we offer a premium version of Metriport to unlock advanced features, no subscription or payment is required to use the app! We offer as much functionality as we can for free. In the future, we will continue to push updates with new features for both our free and premium users.

As a premium member of Metriport, you are able to:
• Create an unlimited amount of new metrics
• Backup all data with automatic encrypted cloud backups and restore functionality
• Access full customizability for editing metrics
• Secure the app with a biometric pin lock
• Customize the app color theme

We offer two different purchasing options for upgrading to premium:
Monthly - Recurring payments
Yearly - Recurring payments

Device Integrations

We do plan on integrating with devices directly in the near future. Although we currently only offer integrations with Apple Health and Google Fit, we are working on finding solutions for direct device integrations into Metriport.

If you have an iPhone, you will need to import your Garmin data into Apple Health first, before you're able to import it into Metriport. If you're on Android, you will need to import your Garmin data into Google Fit before you're able to import it into Metriport. To do this, you will have to use a third party app called Health Sync that will allow you to import your Garmin data into Google Fit.
